I WILL alway give thanks unto the LORD; * his praise shall ever be in my mouth.
 
My soul shall make her boast in the LORD; * the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.
 
O praise the LORD with me, * and let us magnify his Name together.
 
I sought the LORD, and he heard me; * yea, he delivered me out of all my fear.
 
They had an eye unto him, and were lightened; * and their faces were not ashamed.
 
Lo, the poor crieth, and the LORD heareth him; * yea, and saveth him out of all his troubles.
 
The angel of the LORD tarrieth round about them that fear him; * and delivereth them.
 
O taste, and see, how gracious the LORD is: * blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
 
O fear the LORD, ye that are his saints; * for they that fear him lack nothing.
 
The lions do lack, and suffer hunger; * but they who seek the LORD shall want no manner of thing that is good.
 
Come, ye children, and hearken unto me; * I will teach you the fear of the LORD.
 
What man is he that lusteth to live, * and would fain see good days?
 
Keep thy tongue from evil, * and thy lips, that they speak no guile.
 
Eschew evil, and do good; * seek peace, and ensue it.
 
The eyes of the LORD are over the righteous, * and his ears are open unto their prayers.
 
The countenance of the LORD is against them that do evil, * to root out the remembrance of them from the earth.
 
The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth them, * and delivereth them out of all their troubles.
 
The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a contrite heart, * and will save such as be of an humble spirit.
 
Great are the troubles of the righteous; * but the LORD delivereth him out of all.
 
He keepeth all his bones, * so that not one of them is broken.
 
But misfortune shall slay the ungodly; * and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.
 
The LORD delivereth the souls of his servants; * and all they that put their trust in him shall not be destitute.

When a righteous man turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and dieth in them; for his iniquity that he hath done shall he die. Again, when the wicked man turneth away from his wickedness that he hath committed, and doeth that which is lawful and right, he shall save his soul alive. Because he considereth, and turneth away from all his transgressions that he hath committed, he shall surely live, he shall not die. Yet saith the house of Israel, The way of the Lord is not equal. O house of Israel, are not my ways equal? are not your ways unequal? Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord God. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin. Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel? For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord God: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.

Now after two days he departed thence, and went into Galilee. For Jesus himself testified, that a prophet hath no honour in his own country. Then when he was come into Galilee, the Galilaeans received him, having seen all the things that he did at Jerusalem at the feast: for they also went unto the feast. So Jesus came again into Cana of Galilee, where he made the water wine. And there was a certain nobleman, whose son was sick at Capernaum. When he heard that Jesus was come out of Judaea into Galilee, he went unto him, and besought him that he would come down, and heal his son: for he was at the point of death. Then said Jesus unto him, Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe. The nobleman saith unto him, Sir, come down ere my child die. Jesus saith unto him, Go thy way; thy son liveth. And the man believed the word that Jesus had spoken unto him, and he went his way. And as he was now going down, his servants met him, and told him, saying, Thy son liveth. Then inquired he of them the hour when he began to amend. And they said unto him, Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him. So the father knew that it was at the same hour, in the which Jesus said unto him, Thy son liveth: and himself believed, and his whole house. This is again the second miracle that Jesus did, when he was come out of Judaea into Galilee.

ALMIGHTY and everlasting God, who dost govern all things in heaven and earth; Mercifully hear the supplications of thy people, and grant us thy peace all the days of our life; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
