I WILL magnify thee, O God, my King; * and I will praise thy Name for ever and ever.
 
Every day will I give thanks unto thee; * and praise thy Name for ever and ever.
 
Great is the LORD, and marvellous worthy to be praised; * there is no end of his greatness.
 
One generation shall praise thy works unto another, * and declare thy power.
 
As for me, I will be talking of thy worship, * thy glory, thy praise, and wondrous works;
 
So that men shall speak of the might of thy marvellous acts; * and I will also tell of thy greatness.
 
The memorial of thine abundant kindness shall be showed; * and men shall sing of thy righteousness.
 
The LORD is gracious and merciful; * long-suffering, and of great goodness.
 
The LORD is loving unto every man; * and his mercy is over all his works.
 
All thy works praise thee, O LORD; * and thy saints give thanks unto thee.
 
They show the glory of thy kingdom, * and talk of thy power;
 
That thy power, thy glory, and mightiness of thy kingdom, * might be known unto men.
 
Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, * and thy dominion endureth throughout all ages.
 
The LORD upholdeth all such as fall, * and lifteth up all those that are down.
 
The eyes of all wait upon thee, O Lord; * and thou givest them their meat in due season.
 
Thou openest thine hand, * and fillest all things living with plenteousness.
 
The LORD is righteous in all his ways, * and holy in all his works.
 
The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him; * yea, all such as call upon him faithfully.
 
He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him; * he also will hear their cry, and will help them.
 
The LORD preserveth all them that love him; * but scattereth abroad all the ungodly.
 
My mouth shall speak the praise of the LORD; * and let all flesh give thanks unto his holy Name for ever and ever.

And Job answered and said, No doubt but ye are the people, and wisdom shall die with you. But I have understanding as well as you; I am not inferior to you: yea, who knoweth not such things as these? I am as one mocked of his neighbour, who calleth upon God, and he answereth him: the just upright man is laughed to scorn. He that is ready to slip with his feet is as a lamp despised in the thought of him that is at ease. The tabernacles of robbers prosper, and they that provoke God are secure; into whose hand God bringeth abundantly. But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee; and the fowls of the air, and they shall tell thee: Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee: and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee. Who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the Lord hath wrought this? In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind.

Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field: Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof. Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened. All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake he not unto them: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world. Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field. Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it. Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind: Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away. So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Jesus saith unto them, Have ye understood all these things? They say unto him, Yea, Lord. Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.

LORD, we pray thee that thy grace may always prevent and follow us, and make us continually to be given to all good works; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
