Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my
heart, be alway acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my
strength and my redeemer. Psalm xix. 14.
The hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers
shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the
Father seeketh such to worship him. St. John iv. 23.

O COME, let us sing unto the LORD; * let us heartily
rejoice in the strength of our salvation.

above all gods.
In his hand are all the corners of the earth; * and the
strength of the hills is his also.
The sea is his, and he made it; * and his hands
prepared the dry land.
O come, let us worship and fall down, * and kneel
before the LORD our Maker.
For he is the Lord our God; * and we are the people
of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand.
O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness; * let

Domine, exaudi.
HEAR my prayer, O LORD,
* and let my crying come unto thee.
Hide not thy face from me in the time of my trouble;
* incline thine ear unto me when I call; O hear me,
and that right soon.
For my days are consumed away like smoke,
* and my bones are burnt up as it were a firebrand.
My heart is smitten down, and withered like grass;
* so that I forget to eat my bread.
For the voice of my groaning,
* my bones will scarce cleave to my flesh.
I am become like a pelican in the wilderness,
* and like an owl that is in the desert.
I have watched, and am even as it were a sparrow,
* that sitteth alone upon the housetop.
Mine enemies revile me all the day long;
* and they that are mad upon me are sworn together

Isaiah 62:6
I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night:

make Jerusalem a praise in the earth. The Lord hath sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his
strength, Surely I will no more give thy corn to be meat for thine enemies; and the sons of the stranger
shall not drink thy wine, for the which thou has laboured: But they that have gathered it shall eat it, and
praise the Lord; and they that have brought it together shall drink it in the courts of my holiness. Go

Romans 15:4-13
For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience
and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be
likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus: That ye may with one mind and one mouth
glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also
received us to the glory of God. Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the
truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers: And that the Gentiles might glorify God for
his mercy; as it is written, For this cause I will confess to thee among the Gentiles, and sing unto thy
name. And again he saith, Rejoice, ye Gentiles, with his people. And again, Praise the Lord, all ye
Gentiles; and laud him, all ye people. And again, Esaias saith, There shall be a root of Jesse, and he that
shall rise to reign over the Gentiles; in him shall the Gentiles trust. Now the God of hope fill you with all
joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

BLESSED be the Lord God of Israel; * for he hath visited and
redeemed his people;
And hath raised up a mighty salvation for us, * in the
house of his servant David;
As he spake by the mouth of his holy Prophets, * which

the hand of all that hate us.
To perform the mercy promised to our forefathers, * and

The Apostles' Creed.
I BELIEVE in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth:
And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord: Who was conceived by the Holy
Ghost, Born of the Virgin Mary: Suffered under Pontius Pilate, Was
crucified, dead, and buried: He descended into hell; The third day he
rose again from the dead: He ascended into heaven, And sitteth on the

OUR Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done, On earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our
daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, As we forgive those who
trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, But deliver us
from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for
ever and ever. Amen.

The Collect for the Day
The Third Sunday After Easter
ALMIGHTY God, who showest to them that are in
error the light of thy truth, to the intent that they
may return into the way of righteousness; Grant unto all
those who are admitted into the fellowship of Christ's Religion,
that they may avoid those things that are contrary
to their profession, and follow all such things as are agreeable
to the same; through our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
A Collect for Peace.
O GOD, who art the author of peace and lover of concord,
in knowledge of whom standeth our eternal life, whose service
is perfect freedom; Defend us thy humble servants in all assaults
of our enemies; that we, surely trusting in thy defence, may not
fear the power of any adversaries, through the might of Jesus Christ
our Lord. Amen.
A Collect for Grace.
O Lord, our heavenly Father, Almighty and everlasting God,
who hast safely brought us to the beginning of this day; Defend
us in the same with thy mighty power; and grant that this day
we fall into no sin, neither run into any kind of danger; but
that all our doings, being ordered by thy governance, may be
righteous in thy sight; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

A Prayer for the Clergy and People.
Almighty and everlasting God, from whom cometh every good and perfect
gift; Send down upon our Bishops, and other Clergy, and upon the
Congregations committed to their charge, the healthful Spirit of thy
grace; and, that they may truly please thee, pour upon them the continual
dew of thy blessing. Grant this, O Lord, for the honour of our Advocate
and Mediator, Jesus Christ. Amen.
A Prayer for All Conditions of Men.
O God, the Creator and Preserver of all mankind, we humbly beseech thee
for all sorts and conditions of men; that thou wouldest be pleased to
make thy ways known unto them, thy saving health unto all nations. More
especially we pray for thy holy Church universal; that it may be so
guided and governed by thy good Spirit, that all who profess and call
themselves Christians may be led into the way of truth, and hold the
faith in unity of spirit, in the bond of peace, and in righteousness of
life. Finally, we commend to thy fatherly goodness all those who are any
ways afflicted, or distressed, in mind, body, or estate; [* especially
those for whom our prayers are desired;] that it may please thee to
comfort and relieve them, according to their several necessities; giving
them patience under their sufferings, and a happy issue out of all their
afflictions. And this we beg for Jesus Christ's sake. Amen.
